Family has always played an important role in my life. I grew up a farmer’s daughter where my parents taught me the value of hard work and dedication at a young age. I understand the value of family in all its forms; from family traditions, heirlooms, and businesses to savoring fond memories of loved ones. I want to provide families with the peace and comfort of those lasting memories rather than the stress and worry of life’s unfortunate events.
I started the firm in 2009 with a vision to provide strategic legal advice with big city style and small town service. I defied the risks of starting my own firm, and in 2013 I launched Trust Law Counsel to give clients a full service experience to ensure you receive the most personalized estate plan that helps preserve your wealth and legacy. I wanted to create a boutique estate planning department that was unique, with fixed fees, collaborative team approach, and business mindset. As an approachable firm, with the understanding of family and all of life’s events in between, I strive to provide exceptional service to clients in life’s most sensitive moments. I sold the vision I had to my team early on and they see the passion we have for what we do every day. I not only care about our clients, but I care about what they care about. I get to know them as a person and find what matters to them. Estate planning is personal and most often something that individuals find to be an uncomfortable process. Trust Law Counsel is here to alleviate the stress of the estate planning process and you will be comforted to know that you have a plan in place and full team ready to serve you.
When I’m not growing the Goosmann Law Firm, I enjoy spending time with my business owner husband Chadd and our two children, Collin and Caroline. We have a lake home in Okoboji and have traveled to London to the ABA Barrister’s commemoration of the Magna Carta with the Queen at Runnymede. I run the Race for Hope 5k each fall, cook in a Gourmet Dining Club, and mentor the girls of Girls Inc. My miniature Yorkshire Terrier Timo and my Burmese cat Schuey are named after the World Rally Champion and Ferrari Formula One Champion, thanks to my husband Chadd. We have an estate plan to protect our future and preserve our legacy and I’d be honored to help you with yours.
